The prices below include all processing and packaging, and all cuts are vacuum sealed, labeled, and boxed. All orders require a $100 non-refundable deposit and a completed order form (see below) before confirmation. Orders are pick-up only at 1789 Home Place Rd. Como, MS 38619. We do not offer shipping for whole animal orders.
Whole or Half Steer: $5.49/lb *based on hanging weight* - On average, each half carcass weighs about 330 lbs, with a yield of around 55-60% for beef cuts. For example, a 330 lb half steer will yield about 190-210 lbs of cuts and ground beef. The remainder of the weight consists of fat, cartilage, bone, and other connective tissue. You may choose to keep all of this as well if you'd like!
Average half steer cost - $1700-1900
Whole or Half Hog: $4.25/lb *based on hanging weight* - On average, each half carcass weighs about 100 lbs, with a yield of around 65-70% for pork cuts. For example, a 100 lb half hog will yield about 65-70 lbs of cuts and sausage. The remainder of the weight consists of fat, cartilage, bone, and other connective tissue. You may choose to keep all of this as well if you'd like!
