Welcome to the Home Place! We have a lot going on around here, so we created this page for our customers to better understand everything we have to offer on the Home Place. HPP is a vertically integrated operation, meaning we conduct every part of the process to produce our products, right here on the farm. From raising livestock to butchering, harvesting, and shipping, to our own little restaurant and butcher shop, it all happens right here on the Home Place! Find more information on each part of this unique process below:

Farm Store & Eatery
In a beautifully restored farmhouse, built by Mike Bartlett in 1962 and renovated by Marshall in 2020, HPP has a special store for the public right in the middle of the farm! Our Farm Store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8am to 5pm. We serve lunch from 11am to 3pm and offer a wide variety of our grass fed beef and pasture raised pork products, in addition to other local products! We often have live music and events here, and most of our farm activities center around the store. You can call us at 662-426-6223. You don't want to miss the burger everyone talks about!

Events & Tours
We are always cooking up the next farm tour or party, so take a look at our events schedule to see what we've got going on!

Our Pasture House
Venue is available to rent! In another beautifully restored cabin nestled just behind the farm store down a beautiful driveway lined with hardwoods, the restored cabin features gabled original ceilings, an expansive porch, and beautiful panoramic views of the farm through floor-to-ceiling windows. It's perfect for events of 60 or fewer people, and we offer catering from the store! Please call 662-426-6223 or email Farmstore@homeplacepastures.com for questions on rates and availability!

Our USDA/ SQF Plant
is also on site, just across the road from Farm Sore where we harvest, hand-butcher, pack and ship 100% of our grass fed beef and pastured pork products. We offer limited private label processing to the public, and tours of the facility for customers/ educational purposes. For more information on our processing operations or to inquire about private label processing, please call 662-426-6191.

The farming operation
Where it all began with 20 little pigs in 2014, surrounds the facility. We finish hogs and cattle in woods and pastures surrounding the store and plant, and offer farm tours regularly, usually with Marshall on Saturdays at 10am. Marshall is the 5th generation to farm the Home Place for a living, and he has transitioned the farm away from commodity row crops (cotton, corn, soybeans) into a regenerative grazing operation producing grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork.
