Welcome to Home Place Pastures. I’m the owner and founder, Marshall Bartlett. I just want to give you a quick run-through of what we do here at Home Place and the four ways that you can choose to support our farm.
We produce grass-fed, grass-finished beef and pasture-raised pork on our farm and in partnership with a small network of family farms in the Southeast. And we run our own USDA harvest processing facility on site that’s also SQF certified. We pack and ship everything from right here on the farm. So 100% of our products walk into our own facility right here on the farm, from pasture to package to your home. That’s a really challenging, really special part of what we do.
So if you want to support us, four ways.
First way, come to the farm. Come to the store, meet us, hang out. We’re open Tuesday through Saturday. We’d love to see you at the farm store. We serve lunch and also sell our fresh products here at the farm.
Second way, our favorite way, you can always become a box member. We have four options that we put a lot of time and thought into curating for you and your family. We have the Grass-Fed Beef Box. That’s 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef only in that box. We have two boxes that are beef and pork. One is the Essential Box. Then we have the Daily Grind Box, which is our most affordable box. It’s ground beef and ground pork products, including sausages that we put into that. Lastly is the Pasture-Raised Pork Box, which is 100% pasture-raised pork. No beef in that one.
So, we have these four great options. If you choose to sign up, you get to choose the frequency that you receive the box. There’s no commitment. You can cancel, pause, or delay anytime. And we run 100% of our own customer service. So just reach out. We’d love to get your feedback and have you as a customer with that program.
Third, you can go to our website, to the gift section, and just buy a one-off bundle. If you don’t want to commit to something ongoing, you can just try it one time, send it to a friend, check it out. We’d love for you to do that as well.
And then fourth, from our website as well, you can buy a whole animal share. That’s a quarter, half, or whole grass-fed, grass-finished beef, or a quarter, half, or whole pasture-raised pork. You have to pick that up at the farm. It’s too much quantity for us to ship, but you can buy it from the website. We’d love to have you do that as well.
We offer great deals on those products because you buy a bunch of it at once at the exact ratio that nature gives us off the carcass, which really helps us.

Ground beef is about half of the beef Americans eat in a year. It's the thing that runs out first. So every box that leaves this farm has two extra pounds of our 100% grass-fed ground beef in it for as long as you keep your membership.

Boxes run from $149 to $299 depending on which one you pick, and each one holds roughly 15 to 20 pounds of meat. Every box includes two free pounds of grass-fed ground beef. You can see the full contents and current pricing on the box page.

Yes. All of our beef is 100% grass fed and finished! Aside from the beef we raise on the Home Place, we work with a small network of farmers who share our commitment to grass fed beef.
No. Every animal is raised on our farm in Como, Mississippi or in the southeast United States!
When kept fresh, our products have a shelf life of 2-3 weeks. If kept frozen, it will last up to a year before the quality begins to diminish!
Online orders ship and can't be picked up in store. If you're local and would rather shop in person, the Farm Store and Eatery in Como is open and stocked. You can reach them at farmstore@homeplacepastures.com.
